YESTERDAY, WHEN I WAS YOUNG by KAREN WILES
As we age in life, there are cherished moments along the way when our senses take us spiraling back to our own childhood before we can blink an eye. A certain smell, sound, or view as I found in the woodlands of Hot Springs, Virginia. I spiraled back to my own childhood capers as I came upon the laughter and joy of children playing in a mountain stream within the forest like small fairies in a lost paradise. Such simple joy found in their innocent moments of play that will be forever burned in their memories to cherish in their later years, ah...but that is the joy of the innocent moment as they know not how important it really is, as of yet...
